At Fit Learning, our mission is to help every child realize the power of learning through our UNIQUE methodology. We’re a highly-SPECIALIZED program and an affiliate of Fit Learning – New York (www.fitlearners.com) that provides unparalleled services to every kind of student, including yours. Our primary goal is to rapidly accelerate the learning gains of every student who walks through our doors—regardless of age, ability, or aptitude. Including students with general learning disabilities, struggling learners, and perfectly average students, we’re committed to helping all of them become proficient, confident, focused, fluent, independent, and happy. Our Roots The Fit Learning founders spent 15+ years developing products and processes based on EVIDENCE based strategies embedded in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, Precision Teaching and Direct Instruction. Our unique system of instruction focuses on MASTERY and MEASUREMENT which are the key distinguishing factors which sets us apart from the traditional tutoring model.
Fluency/Cognitive Fitness Our sessions resemble a sport, where your child practices academic skills in a fast-paced, high-energy, 1-1 instructional session. Students at Fit are required to master the basic FOUNDATIONAL skills, before moving on to more COMPLEX skills. Educational statistics indicate that FLUENCY = success in higher levels skills with little instruction. That is, by achieving mastery it the core foundational skills, students can fluidly perform higher level, complex tasks EFFORTLESSLY and successfully.
Transformational Results Objectively, our research indicates that combining the approach of building mastery and directly measuring individual student performance, produces academic and cognitive TRANSFORMATION at the fastest pace possible. Subjectively parents often report a tremendous boost not only in their child’s CONFIDENCE in the subject matter learned, but in areas which were never trained i.e. generativity. There are also instances when teachers and other professionals have suggested the REMOVAL of common diagnostic labels, i.e. ADHD, Anxiety Disorder upon completion of our program.

That’s our promise. Our academic tutoring program has combined the most highly researched and tested methods into one simple, guided approach.
